Tomas Wren was walking home from Great Baddow High School when he was in collision with a motor bike. Fellow students witnessed the accident in which Tomas suffered a serious head injury followed by cardiac arrest. He was taken to Broomfield Hospital by air ambulance but later died. His family and teachers at the school described Tomas as lively, open and full of life. Head Teacher, Roger Hunton said, ‘He was willing to tell you everything. He always had an intelligent opinion about things and would always say ‘hello’ to you in the playground. We can’t believe it’s happened, but we’ve got to be strong and show we are a loving community and support his family.
