The National Womens Register

The National Womens Register held a meeting at a members home recently, to plan the programme for the next few months. Discussion topics such as radiation and its possible effects , the ethics of transplants, and a book review looking behind the scenes of big business, and choosing the man or women of 1998 will feature on the programme among other serious and light hearted meetings.

The National Womens Register provides an outlet for any woman who wishes to participate in discussions on a wide range of topics both serious and light hearted. It promotes friendship and a better understanding of other points of view through the free exchange of ideas and opinions. NWR was founded almost 30 years ago and there are now 1200 groups scattered throughout the British isles. The Galleywood Group had 29 members present and welcomes new ones.
