“The Parish Council invites local organisations to apply for cash grants each year and the following grants were approved for the year 1994/95

  • 1st Galleywood Brownie Pack – £100
  • 2nd Galleywood Brownie Pack – £150
  • Darby & Joan Club – £100
  • Horticultural Society – £100
  • Townswomens’ Guild – £60
  • Womens’ Institute – £100
  • Badminton Club – £150
  • Neighbourhood Watch – £150
  • Friendship Plus – £100
  • Happy Days – £100
  • Barnard Badminton Club – £100
  • Community Care Association – £100


The 1st Galleywood Guides had been notified that when they left Keene Hall a grant would no longer be forthcoming and so their request for a grant was not allowed.”
