Millennium Footpath Opened

The Parish Council, in association with the owners of Parklands Farm have opened a new footpath to celebrate the Millennium. It runs through the farm and fifty trees have been planted to enhance the walk. They include Oak, Ash, Maple, and Cherry. At a brief ceremony to mark the occasion, the Council Chairman, Ted Hawkins, said ‘It’s a lovely set of walks through undulating countryside. You can be miles away. It’s nice to have and will be well used.’
