More than 200 visitors attended an exhibition in the Keene Hall by the Historical Society. The subject – 'Bygone Days of Galleywood' – displayed various aspects of the village's rural farming community. More than 200 photos and documents were on show, many of which had been provided by Christine Whybro. Paintings of Galleywood farms, farming implements borrowed from Barleylands Museum and information about Lodge Farm, displayed by the Tully family, added to the interest. Refreshments were provided by the Women's Institute.
