Gold Award for Galleywood Pub

Quality floral decorations and a good standard of cleanliness have won the Eagle Public House a Gold Award from the Cleaner Chelmsford Campaign. The award was presented by the chairman of the committee, councillor David Jones. David and Kandy Moore have run the pub for five years and the award recognised their efforts in keeping the pub and surrounding area clean and tidy. The flower tubs and baskets also put them in the finals of the ‘Ridleys in Bloom’ competition run by the brewery earlier in the year.
