Council co opts two new members

In March this year, the Parish Council filled two vacancies by co-opting two new members. Jill Bellamy was born and bred in Galleywood. Her hobbies include gardening, art and design and she is a member of the Horticultural Society and Galleywood Social club. She is also a member of Well Lane Methodist church where she helps with the Sunday School and Thursday Fellowship meetings. Also joining the Council is Bernard Cooper. Married to Frances with two grown up children and three grandchildren, Bernard moved to Chelmsford in 1968 and to Galleywood in 1981. He is a member of the Short Mat bowls club and Galleywood Historical Society and undertakes voluntary work for the Essex Wildlife Trust at the Hanningfield Visitor Centre.
