2000 mile charity walk

Paul Gardner, 27, is setting out on a journey of a lifetime in memory of his father who died of heart disease. Starting from Trafalgar Square he is planning to walk from London to Istambul in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Paul was inspired to make the walk while reading the books of Ffyona Campbell who has undertaken many expeditions around the world. Practice has involved walking along Hadrian’s Wall, 15 miles a day for a week. Starting in April he hopes to complete his odyssey by September this year.
